My New Hunting Buddy and Wolf Wacking Tool

After a few trips up chasing wolves this past season I realized I needd a way to get farther up than I am able to hike these days. So, I decided I needed a companion to go up after the wolves and bigger bulls. Here he is, meet Boone. Boone is a 13 yr old Gelding quarter horse with a lot of heart.
This was our first trip up to higher elevation today in a test run. As soon as ole Boone figured out I was boss we had a great day. We started in heavy fog and kept pluggin until we were above it. Then as I ate my PB&J Boone rested and I even shared a cookie and my apple with him. I think we are going be best of friends. Woofs better stay deep.
Jeff

jeff....

Get yourself a Mc Clellan saddle. They ride much easier and are light weight too. Boone will appreciate it. So will you.

Flip, this old saddle will be fine. She may be old but after a day in her I still feel good. This saddle has roped a many a steer too.
