Idaho unit 11 wolf opportunity?

I'm headed up in that country, seeing what the wolf pros think about opportunities in unit 11? Coming from western Colorado for 10 days

Thanks for any info

I don't think 11 has that many wolves. 14, 15, 10A all have good numbers.

Not absolutely clear, but looking at the IDFG siteUnit 11, and 11A are closed. You really should go to Idaho site. Under the Hunting icon is a wolf section. It has a table of quota's, including current kill numbers for both trapping and hunting. Good Luck!

Re: Idaho unit 11 wolf opportunity?

Only one wolf was killed in unit 11 during the 2011-2012 hunting season. THere are not many wolves in that area but they are present. Any that you happen to see and kill will help keep a larger population of wolves from becoming established in one of the few areas left that doesn't have many of them.

I hunt and live in units 11/11A and I have seen quite a few wolves over the last 2 years unfortunately they have all been to far away to shoot
