mostly just another play toy. prob get used for varmints coyotes and pssibly hogs

5.56 then all the way 6.8 ammo is to much money to play with in high volumes. If its just a hunting gun for hogs lots of them die every day with 5.56 but 6.8 is better IMO

I wouldn't touch either of those guns with a ten foot pole. There's tons of examples of LWRCi guns having to go back... Pat Roger's batch, etc.

They've even failed on the Military Channel shows. I watched the goofball from LWRC hand cycling every round on one of the shows.

If it were my money to spend, I would run with a 20" LWRC in 5.56 with an 8 twist barrel.

You might want to give LMT a look. If you want to squeeeze accuracy out of it go DI not often a piston will out shoot DI
