I'm with cbass. The r25 is a fine rifle. My buddy has one in 7mm08 that'll hold 1inch or so and it seems to run just fine. (he loves it, and hasn't mentioned any hiccups at all) But, the DPMS version will leave you with money in your pocket to put toword optics, mounts etc. I think you can Duracoat, hydro-dip, Ceracoat, or whatever the DPMS for less than the difference between the two rifles anyway. But if you don't mind paying a bit extra, I'm sure you'll be happy with it.
