trouble with tac

hi if any one could tell me about a little silver spring that fell out of my tac 15i when i removed the upper to install the tape on the trigger.. a spring fell out and i cant seem to find out were it goes . if anyone know please let me know thanks very much al

if you removed the rear hand grip its the spring that holds the pin in on the safety, look for a small hole under the hand grip make sure the small pin is still in then put the spring in and reinstall hand grip.

thanks for the peply , i never removed the grip it fell out of somewere in the cranking area under the upper.
