trim your biscuit

I trimmed my biscuit last year and have been getting 1"groups at 70 yards, no damage to vanes what so ever

I hate to mess with my Tac15 because it's shooting so well, but what you're saying makes sense. Might give that a try at some point.

OTOH... My fletchings don't seem seem to wear out before they get shot through a deer and all messed up anyway.

The picture is fuzzy for me. You cut out the bristles where the vanes would be?

How did you do it? Exacto knife?
