Washing Hands After Field Dressing A Deer
This tip is compliments of sscoyote via Ernie Bishop

If you have no water source for getting the blood off your hands try dirt. That's right...dirt. Take some dry or moist dirt and rub it brisky between your hands and fingers. It seems to act a little like pumice and does a surprisingly good job of removing blood.

For about $1 you can can get gloves and arm gauntlets that will protect you up to your armpits from getting any blood on yourself. I buy them at sporting good stores or Wal-Mart in 6/8 packs for the season. I was not impressed when I first saw them in use thinking whats wrong with a little blood on your hands. Try them. You will always have a couple in your pack. I even give them to the guides when on a guided hunt. They love 'em.
