When still hunting along a mountain ridge, walk carefully just below the ridge top. If you walk too high on the ridge, your quarry will much more easily spot your movement.

If you are about to head over the top of a ridge, duck down first and maybe even crawl those last few feet, peeking over before exposing yourself.
