Tyler Dabney

Tyler Dabney has been involved in shooting sports since he was old enough to handle a firearm. From trap leagues to big game hunting to varmint hunting and coyote calling competitions, you'll rarely catch Tyler without plans involving a rifle. Starting with a penchant for shotguns, Tyler's passion has gravitated to precision rifles. Either refining an existing rig or planning for the next, you can be sure Tyler has something outdoors with a rifle planned. Tyler has spent nearly 14 years in the oil & gas service industry and is currently employed as a Safety Supervisor for a global service provider.

Eric A. Mayer

Eric A. Mayer is the owner of Online Magazine and A former trapper and current depredation specialist, Eric has over 30 years of experience with every aspect of varmint hunting, from predator calling to long-range hunting. Established in 1997, is a free online magazine that includes articles, videos and full product reviews for the varmint hunting community.

Andy Backus

Andy Backus is a husband and father of two little girls. He grew up hunting whitetail deer in Wisconsin with gun and bow and over the years has been fortunate to hunt and explore most of the Western US states and Alaska. He plays soccer to stay in shape and also enjoys most other sports and outdoor activities. Andy is the Field Editor for Long Range Hunting Online Magazine and also manages the Long Range Hunting Store.

Roger Seale

Roger Seale has been an avid outdoorsman for the last 35 years. In the last 5 years he has become addicted to long range shooting and hunting. Roger likes them real close (archery) or real far away. He hones his skills all year with competitive shooting and predator hunting. Married and the proud father of two hunting daughters, both girls took their first deer at age 7, and both have taken deer past 300 yards.

Ed Shell

Beginning with a .22 at eight years old, Ed has been shooting nearly all his life. He was on the local 4-H District Rifle Team in the 1960s, saw military service in the 1970s, has been hunting big and small game and shooting long range varmints throughout and now shoots long range precision rifle in several styles. Current interests include tactical/precision rifle competition, F-Class matches, teaching marksmanship and coaching shooters new to long range.

Justin Shireman

Justin was raised in western Oklahoma near the town of Elk City. He graduated college with a Biology degree and is now employed in the oil and gas industry. He is a devoted outdoorsman, enjoys hunting any kind of game, whether it be archery, shotgun, or rifle. Justin is also an avid shooter and reloader. When he is not out hunting, shooting, or fishing, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter where they now reside, just south of Oklahoma City.

Scott Shreve

Scott Shreve is a life-long hunter and avid predator caller. He is a Team FOXPRO member and enjoys taking his son, family and friends out calling predators. Scott lives in Buffalo, Wyoming and spends his free time hunting, shooting long range and reloading.

Charles Smith

Dr. Charles Watson Smith Jr. is an educator and an avid shooter and hunter. As a retired United States Air Force First Sergeant, he has hunted and shot in competition in Asia, Europe, and North America. Charles has four passions: (a) A passion for introducing hunting and shooting to his special education students and young people, (b) Long range shooting, (c) Reloading, and (d) Hunting and shooting with family and friends.

Steve Smith

Steve Smith resides in central Missouri and is a Cal 50 ballistics engineer at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in Independence, MO. Steve says he has a job doing something he loves, and gets paid to do it. He is a lifelong gun enthusiast who loves shooting, hunting, collecting guns and the great outdoors. Although he is a deer hunter, his biggest passion is hunting hogs, calling coyotes and dove hunting. Steve takes great pride in clean one shot kills, and always strives for them.

Jim Speaks
Jim lives in SW Mississippi. He is an avid big game hunter. He especially enjoys hunting out West. Long range shooting and varmint hunting are also favorite past-times. On this forum he uses the name jimbo300

Charles E. Speck
Charles is a Virginia Christian clay and target shooter, hunter and reloader. He has been doing this for over forty years and says he is still learning! Charles has written a couple articles and had an article written about a gun he had commissioned called "The Patriot," which is the only gun ever to commemorate 9/11. Charles loves side by sides and accurate rifles.

Eric Stecker
An Arizona native, Eric Stecker started working for Walt Berger as Range Officer for the benchrest matches held in Phoenix. Several months later Walt asked Eric if he was interested in making Berger Bullets. After a few days in the shop Eric knew he had found his passion. 19 years later he is the Executive Vice President in charge of operation at their Fullerton CA plant.

Harold Stephens
Harold Stephens has been hunting and fishing from a very young age. He has mainly hunted in the great state of Texas, except for one successful hunt in New Mexico for mule deer. Harold primarily hunts feral hogs and whitetail deer, but has had the opportunity to take a couple of Axis bucks and a Black Buck doe. Dove hunting rounds out his shotgun experience and plinking cans with a pistol keeps him occupied while sitting around camp.

Carl Taylor
Carl currently lives in Northeast Washington with his wife and sons. Carl was raised in the big game hunting industry in the Blue Mountains of Southeastern WA. Carl joined the USMC and was qualified in several MOSís as well as being a Scout Sniper. Active memberships include: Founder of the USMC Scout Sniper Association, Member of the VFW, NRA, and USMC Together We Served organization. Carl also volunteers his time to Camp Patriot, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to meeting the outdoor adventure needs of combat-related disabled veterans. Currently Carl works as a contractor on DOD and DHS contracts both operationally and in an instructor capacity.

Jerry Teo
Jerry shoots regularly out to one mile and also competes in F class. His current cartridges are 223, 6.5 Mystic, 7 Mystic, 308, 300RUM and 338 Mystic. He enjoys experimenting with gear and wildcatting in order to increase accuracy performance and to debunk accuracy myths.

Tim Titus
Tim has been calling coyotes for 35 years. He lives in the coyote rich country of Southeast Oregon where he and his son spend their winters calling predators and their springs and early summers shooting varmints. Tim owns and operates No Off Season, an on-line predator and varmint hunting store and guiding business. You can check it out at

Les Voth

Les Voth learned to hunt whitetail deer and coyotes in his native Canada, and has hunted both as often as possible in eastern North Dakota since immigrating to the United States twenty two years ago. The northern hunting grounds of Canada still beckon, and Les hopes to hunt Manitoba whitetails in the fall of 2013. Of course coyotes will need to be targeted then too. (photo by Lyle Voth)

Bryce Wells
Bryce Wells is a sponsored hunter and shooter From Sagle, Idaho. He is married to his great wife Sabrina and has two kids. His wife and kids also get in on the hunting, and enjoy long range shooting and bowhunting. Bruce Winker

Bruce Winker lives on the West Coast where he is an inventor and scientist with over 20 years experience developing advanced optical displays, weapon sights and fire control systems. He has a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry. At work he specializes in optics and ballistics. Bruce is also Vice-President of High Power Optics. He is committed to helping shooters in all disciplines get the best performance from their optics. He runs free rifle scope clinics for shooters every month at local shooting ranges. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing and hunting for deer, wild big, varmints and predators. Bruce is a husband and father of two kids.

Lorenzo Young

Lorenzo lives in Santaquin, Utah. He finances his hunting by shoeing horses and building homes for the fine people in Utah County. His addictions include back country bowhunting, horse packing, and long range rifle hunting.
