You could go with a pretty light bag for the bc hunt. I’d definitely recommend a bag comfort rates down to 15deg for the nwt hunt. If either is a horseback, you need not worry about counting ounces for the sleeping bag.

What time of year is the hunt? August opener or late season in September? Mtn range? These things would dictate what bag you’ll want to bring.

That's correct. I took the stud out when I had the smith put the Spartan adapter in it. I am pretty sure I still have the stud, just needs screwed back into the stock. The stud backer is still in the stock and has not been changed.

Bump

I have one of the Hawkeye African in transit. I had hawkeye in the special run Grices did a few years ago. It shot fantastic. Sold it like a fool. These African Hawkeyes look like a perfect set up for a 35 whelen. Can’t wait to get it this weekend and put a few down range.
